Meet Dr. Tubbesing
Born and raised locally, Dr. Tubbesing earned both his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Washington. After graduating, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at a community health center, where he treated underserved communities. Beyond providing patient care, Dr. Tubbesing has worked alongside a research team at the University of Washington, investigating the link between masticatory dysfunction and neurodegenerative diseases.
Throughout his education, Dr. Tubbesing has received several awards, including the Western Society of Periodontology Award and the Dr. Tony Michael Ponti Memorial Scholarship Award, the latter recognizing a student’s academic achievements, creative excellence, and outstanding performance at the University of Washington School of Dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tubbesing enjoys traveling, cooking, and staying active.
