Why Patients Choose Us

Planned by an Orthodontist, Not a Website

Mail-order aligners are cheaper because nobody examines your teeth first and nobody checks your progress. Here a specialist plans the treatment and reviews it as it goes.

Your Orthodontist

Planned by a Specialist

Dr. Keyvan Sohrabi is board certified, trained at the University of Washington with advanced degrees from Harvard and McGill. He plans the treatment and monitors it, rather than an algorithm.

We Will Say If Aligners Are Not Right

Not every case suits Invisalign. Some bites need braces, and we would rather say so at the consultation than partway through treatment.

Understanding The Invisalign Process And Timeline

The Process

What Invisalign Involves

Consultation and scan. Dr. Sohrabi examines your teeth and takes a digital scan. You’ll see a projection of how your teeth would move and roughly how long it would take before committing to anything.

Your aligners. Made specifically for your teeth and worn 20 to 22 hours a day. You change to the next set every one to two weeks, each one moving your teeth slightly further.

Check-ups. Every six to eight weeks, to confirm things are tracking as planned.

Retainers. Teeth drift back without them. Retainers hold the result, and they are part of treatment rather than an optional extra.

How long does it take? Most cases run 12 to 18 months, some simple ones as little as six. Complex cases take longer, and Dr. Sohrabi will give you a realistic range at the consultation rather than a headline figure.

Suitability

What Invisalign Can and Can’t Fix

Usually works well for:

  • Crowded teeth
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Mild to moderate overbite, underbite or crossbite
  • Teeth that have shifted after previous braces

Braces are often the better answer for:

  • Severe crowding or rotation
  • Significant bite correction
  • Teeth that need substantial vertical movement
  • Younger children still developing

The honest version: aligners suit a lot of cases and not all of them. We’ll tell you which yours is.

Making It Work

Aligners Only Work If You Wear Them

20 to 22 hours a day. That means everything except eating, drinking anything other than water, and brushing.

It sounds demanding and most people adapt within a week. But it’s the one thing that decides whether treatment finishes on schedule, and it’s worth being honest with yourself about before starting. If you know you’d struggle, braces do the work without relying on you.

Cost & Payment

What Does Invisalign Cost?

It depends on how much movement is needed and how long treatment runs. A minor correction and a full-arch case are very different, which is why we won’t quote before seeing your teeth.

What affects the price:

  • How complex the case is and how many aligner sets are needed
  • Treatment length
  • Whether attachments or refinements are needed
  • Retainers afterwards

Will Insurance Cover It?

Many dental plans include orthodontic coverage, often with a lifetime maximum rather than an annual one. Invisalign is usually covered on the same terms as braces. We’ll check your plan.

Please note: We do not accept DSHS, Apple Care, Apple Health, or Provider One dental insurance plans.

Paying the Balance

We offer in-house financing for orthodontic cases, alongside CareCredit.

Not sure if aligners suit your case?

Come in for a consultation and Dr. Sohrabi will scan your teeth and tell you whether Invisalign will do what you want it to.

Absolutely hands down the best dentist I’ve been to very quick and thorough! The assistant was absolutely amazing! As the dentist was giving my numbing shot she was right next to me the whole time rubbing my arm to comfort me! It honestly made the experience that much better! The dentist talked through step by step what she was doing in my mouth and what I’d feel so there was no surprises! Absolutely so grateful I’ve encountered such an amazing team!

Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on complexity and treatment length. We’ll give you a written estimate at your consultation. Most dental plans that cover braces cover Invisalign on the same terms.

Most cases run 12 to 18 months. Simple corrections can be as little as six. You’ll get a realistic range after your scan, not a headline figure.

There’s pressure and tenderness for a day or two after each new set, which is the aligner doing its job. Most people find it more manageable than braces because there’s nothing sharp.

No. Take them out to eat and to drink anything other than water, then brush before putting them back.

For the right case, yes. For complex movements, braces are still better. Dr. Sohrabi will tell you honestly which applies to you.

They’re cheaper because nobody examines your teeth first or checks your progress. Aligners move teeth whether or not the movement is correct, and problems are much harder to fix after the fact than to prevent.
