Meet Dr. Sohrabi

Dr-Keyvan-orthodontist-and-orthodontics-specialistDr. Keyvan Sohrabi is a Board Certified Orthodontist. He completed his training at University of Washington’s prestigious Orthodontics Department, earning a Master of Science in Dentistry and a Certificate in Orthodontics. Previously, he attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he earned a Master of Medical Sciences and a Certificate in Dental Public Health.

Dr. Sohrabi has published extensively in scholarly journals. His Harvard thesis was featured in 2016 edition of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. His groundbreaking research on the success rate of small diameter implants, published while a doing research at McGill University, Canada, has garnered more than 150 citations and was featured in the Clinical Oral Implants Research.

Dr. Sohrabi serves on several editorial and advisory boards, including the editorial board of the Oral Health and Preventive Dentistry. He is also a reviewer for the American Journal of Orthodontics, European Journal of Orthodontics, British Dental Journal and Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In 2013, he was appointed by the board of directors of the American Dental Education Association to serve on the PASS taskforce. He has received James Dunning Scholarship from Harvard University, Presidential Award for ranking top of his dental school class, a National Research Award, and Certificate of Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing from the American Journal of Orthodontics.

Dr. Sohrabi has demonstrated his highest commitment to excellence in orthodontic care by achieving board certification, an exclusive society dedicated to the improvement of orthodontics in education, ethics, responsibility, and competence in practice.

Dr. Sohrabi’s is a member of the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA), American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), AAO Foundation Vanguard Society (AAOF), Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists (PCSO), American Dental Association (ADA), Washington State Society of Orthodontists (WSSO) and Alpha Omega Dental Society.
