Good dental care starts with twice daily brushing and flossing. As you can see in the video, and as your dentist will tell you, a toothbrush is only effective if you use it.
Your toothbrush should have soft, angled bristles that won’t damage your gums. The bristles should have different lengths that reach all surfaces of your teeth and mouth. The different kinds of toothbrush—electric versus nonelectric—don’t make much difference, as long as you are properly brushing for at least two minutes, twice a day.
